CSS Computing comprises Richard W.J. Harding Computer Services and The Cannibal Surf Shack Ltd. Rich left British Telecommunications PLC in 1998 to pursue programming opportunities and, having fulfilled a couple of short-term VB/VBA contracts, the rapid expansion of the internet meant his skills were much in demand and website work began to be undertaken.
The natural progression was then into dynamic, database-driven sites, mainly using Active Server Pages. A large amount of work was also undertaken for Live Learning Ltd, producing educational CDs for the likes of the BBC and Nelson Thornes publishers, and also making a considerable contribution to the company's own educational software development.
The company now works closely with a range of computing specialists to deliver integrated solutions for businesses of all sizes.
